June 2020

Looking closely, the soil and small stones are still all over the place. But somehow, the garland chrysanthemum, komatsuna, and Chinese chives are managing to grow. By the way, Chinese chives are unbeatable in cost performance — they just keep multiplying, help prevent diseases in other vegetables, and can be harvested almost endlessly. Highly recommended 👍

The tomatoes are growing. Still short, but I’m counting on them to take off soon.

Thinning the carrots. Even the tiny ones have a wonderful aroma—and yes, the thinnings are delicious too.
